I really like how I shot this photo, it reminds me
almost of the way the great wall of china bends. This
is also posted on the blog. I took this picture
because I liked the moss that was growing from underneath.
I thought this would be good photo because it
expresses that same sentiment of the earth
taking back or reclaiming its space.

As soon as I looked at the picture of the wall that had originally been blue it caught my attention. I'm sure that whoever painted the wall thought that when they were finished with it that it looked it's best and would deteriorate from that point. However, I really think that now that the earth has had time to "play" with the wall that it probably looks better now than when the painting was complete. I think I could be convinced that the painted meant for the wall to look like this.
Chelsea, where is this last picture from? I really like the design behind the vine -- again something modern or contemporary that speaks to pre-history ... and with the earth claiming it back!
The last picture is from a house on W.franklin, I want to say it is the house next to that Big grey one . It was like a screen down by the foundation that I guess you can see in the basement or something. I don't really know what they are called, sorry.
I really like the decay of the window... decay in general has really fascinated me with Earth Art, and the persistence of objects through time. Nothing seems permanent.
